The Program
Thanks to videoconferencing equipment, students and the surgical team will talk to and see each other throughout an entire open heart surgery, and students will be able to ask questions about all things heart-related. By the end of the experience, they will be completely in awe of the amazing capacity of the human heart. Students will explore careers by asking questions about the educational and professional background of the surgical team to determine how and why they joined this rigorous field.
